Conventions in Las Vegas are an important part of the culture and heritage. Various conventions are held here all the year round. Speaking in terms of various conventions and programmes, Las Vegas is the busiest city in USA. There is a separate authority for conventions in Las Vegas. This is known as the Las Vegas Conventions and Visitors Authority.

The various Trade Shows and Conventions in Las Vegas are important revenue earners for the city. More than top 200 shows of the week are held in Las Vegas. Las Vegas has a separate space of about 9 million square feet just for meetings and conventions. The Las Vegas Convention Center which is an important place for meetings and conventions in Las Vegas has also extended and constructed another South Hall. Other than this, some additional convention place has been developed with the opening of Madalay Bay which has 1.5 million square foot.
